Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman has expressed confidence that any snap parliamentary election would unlikely change the Ukrainian Parliament for the better.

In his Friday interview for the Rada TV Channel, Groysman said: "There is no sense to speak about snap parliamentary election as today we have all elements required to unite the parliamentarians in order to effectively take important decisions." "I understand that someone is trying to escalate the situation by trying to assure of a need for snap parliamentary election, however, the idea is unlikely to change the Parliament for the better," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said.

Groysman noted that today "the Parliament has certain problems, makes certain mistakes, however, it also has notable achievements able to make our further work more successful." According to Groysman, despite all the problems, the Parliament is currently holding certain internal reforms, systematizing its work, introducing brand new electronic services. "Quality work is simply a must for the Verkhovna Rada today," he said.

Groysman pointed out that on Thursday, the Parliament adopted 21 laws, which, in his words, indicated real steps in successful systematization of the Parliament's work.

He said that on November 24, the Parliament plans to hold the "Day of decentralization and deregulation of administrative services," and consider the law on the state service. Groysman added that November 26 will be the "Day of education" in the walls of the Ukrainian Parliament.

In his words, all that would improve all aspects of work of the Ukrainian legislature.
